At the onset of the pandemic, I discovered the power of connecting with nature to calm my mind and reduce stress. This led to my passion for having a home garden, promoting the idea of cultivating our own fresh, organic food using regenerative agriculture principles to enrich our soils and protect the environment.
I gifted over 70 tomato plants during those challenging times, finding joy in nurturing life from seeds. Extensive research on sustainable practices taught me the importance of non-GMO, organic seeds, balanced pH levels, and chemical-free soil, which solidified my commitment to organic harvests.
With my Instagram page "gng.organic" (Gardening and Growing Organic), I shared my journey and knowledge, inspiring others. In 2021 I harvested 200 lbs of veggies, including peppers, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, zucchinis, carrots, and onions, and this led me to organize workshops at home where I have guided over 100 people on their sustainable gardening journey.
Recently, I discovered the innovative Tower Garden—a vertical aeroponic system used to grow more than 200 varieties of vegetables, herbs, fruits and flowers. The Tower Garden reduces water usage by 95% compared to the conventional method, conserving this vital resource, and occupies just 10% of the space required by traditional gardens, benefiting limited spaces and preserving green areas. Food grows three times faster and yields are 30% higher on average.
By distributing Tower Gardens to people living in houses, townhouses and apartments, I empower others to cultivate organic food, reducing their ecological footprint. It represents a transformative shift towards sustainability, paving the way for a greener and balanced future. I invite you to join me on this journey towards a more sustainable and environmentally-friendly life!
